  • In terms of convenience it satisfies, but in terms of quality, experience, and value, Nikki's 7-10 minutes away is superior. I ordered the Tom kha soup to start. It was in a soup bowl whereas Nikki's is served in their curry sized dinner bowls (practically a main course in itself). It tasted good except lemongrass seemingly dominated the dish. When I was ready to order my food, I had to walk over and find the waiter who was sitting down watching the World Cup in the other room even though I was the only customer in the establishment. When I received my check, it showed spice level of 0 (he never asked because I always order just 1 below the max), and there was a salad on the bill that I never received. After pointing it out, he appeared surprised that I still wanted it...if it came with the meal, might as well. Lastly, I asked for recommendations of protein pairings with the soup. He said, "same...." and left it at that whereas the folks at Nikki's discuss which courses or curries pair best with each protein. The drunken noodles did taste good, but the pork was very dry. Overall, it was disappointing at the lack of attention I received while being their only business mid afternoon. It terms of portion size, experience, and staff friendliness, I learned to just take the extra few minute drive to mt. Nebo.
