  • Don't use this hospice service if you have to contract them through a Concordia facility. They basically drop off a hospice medication kit to Concordia and expect them to administer hospice care to the patient. A hospice nurse/aide checks in twice a week. We had to literally beg them to make sure our loved one was being properly medicated for pain at the end stages of prostrate cancer. Called 3 times the day he died to please ask that meds be given on time (so that he wouldn't be in pain). All they did was call the overworked staff at Concordia to do that. They didn't even bother sending a hospice nurse for his final hours. We had to chase down the nurses every two hours to get medication. It was awful.
