  • I have been thinking of a way to properly thank Dinah, and I think that this is the best way to do it while helping out fellow Yelpers. First, a little about Thorps: to me, it is everything that is great about the East side of Madison. Everyone is welcome. My appointments are usually in the morning (and Dinah has always been on time), so I skip the PBR but you may help yourself to that or any of the beverages (water, pop/soda/coffee). As for Dinah-- she is one of the best. I have been told by former stylists that my hair is difficult to cut (short/thick/coarse/unruly), but she makes it look easy. I have changed my look a few times-- she has listened to what and made my hair look better than I thought it could. I've gone her for both cuts and highlights, and she is skilled at both. Enough praise-- hopefully you can tell that I recommend Dinah (and Thorps) highly.
