Maybe you can give a noisy little bar food restaurant on the edge of a beautiful lake 4 or 5 stars. I can't. Maybe the beer selection helps. I'm a wine drinker. Our lunch today was very disappointing, excluding the great view, of course. Overdone fried fish sandwiches, tasteless cole slaw, scary corn dogs for the granddaughters; each was a notably poor execution that won't soon be forgiven. From what I noticed on surrounding tables it wasn't that we made the wrong menu choices. The service was actually pretty good, partially I believe, because we arrived very early in the lunch hour. Like LeMont, this place wouldn't last a month in another location.
