  • Bad car from Hertz... Again. Cigarette smell. Shaky front end. Dirty carpets. The cigarette smell has gotten worse over the past few days, to the point where it makes me and my wife disgusted and keep the windows open. I suspect they used a cover-up spray, but that's a guess. The shakes became apparent on the highway after leaving the Hertz facility. My wife and I were too tired to deal with going back with the car after a 12-hour travel day. The car was ready when I got to the airport , otherwise 1 star. Rented from Hertz in Chicago a few months ago. Similar problems. Hertz used to be a quality company. Now they might as well be Rent A Wreck.
