  • So after my friend repeatedly rejected all my NYE ideas and waited til the last second for a place to go we got stuck here. We greased the door guy $20 to cut in line which I thought was pointless given the short line and we paid the cover which was $45 for the night and wow the place was empty. The smoke was coming out of my head and the place was pretty small in the first room. We walked around and luckily the secondary room was big but overall was not impressed with the setup of the place. The drinks as expected overpriced and seriously what is it about Canadian bartenders and their lack of knowledge on how to make shots? A lemon drop which is basically lemon vodka, a lemon and sugar and I get something that taste like a red headed slut. The place eventually filled up but yea douche-tastic and very trashy/ghetto. I tried to make the most of the night and at least they were playing decent music. I left early and probably won't come back here again. Side note take down the old sign Republik in your main room when you call yourselves XS! Avoid this place if you are in town.
