  • I rented a car here for my trip to Havasu falls. I reserved a car months in advance, a full size. When I arrived, there was a full size available, but I opted for the SUV, as it was going to be a long drive out to Havasu. It only increased my price $5.00 a day. Not bad. So renting the car and going through the line and leaving was fine, but as as soon as I left the lot and rolled over that first speed bump at regular speeds, I knew something was wrong with the car... The car made a huge clunk on the front right side. The suspension was all messed up. As soon as I got up to freeway speeds, there was a noticeable shake in the steering wheel. I called the enterprise customer service, they said that they would notate this in my file. So I called back on Sunday, to inform them that I would not e back in the time that I put on my reservation, I again mentioned the clunk, the person on the line asked if I damaged the car... I stated that it was something that was wrong with the car the moment I left the lot. There was no note of my previous phone call. Then came when I went to return the car, again I mention that something was wrong with the car, there was no note. The associate that check in the car asked me again, DID I DAMAGE THE CAR??? NO I DIDN'T! The note should have been put in there that the clunk had been occurring since day one. In reality I should have taken the car right back to enterprise when that clunk happened, but I really needed to get out to Havasu to get some rest prior to the next morning. Enterprise needs to communicate better between its HQ offices and its physical locations. Also if they are saying they are putting a note on the file, put the damn note. Ugh. This particular rental made me more frustrated than it should have. COMMUNICATION IS KEY between offices, HQ, and the customer. If you experience anything wrong with the car, don't call the HQ, just turn around and go right back and ask for something else. You don't want anyone accusing you or asking you multiple times did you damage the car. If you look at the car clearly I did not damage the car! As for the gas, there is a shell less than 1 mile from the rental office that is much cheaper than what they offer in and/or around the rental offices. Go there!
