This is the 2nd time Teddy's been to Colleen's. Their customer service is great and friendly. Their grooming style...another story.
1st time Teddy got a "trim" he looked like a square ball. it was totally not what I asked for or expected. Wish I could show you the before and after pics. You'd understand.
2nd time was today, I thought, hey, maybe I didn't tell them what I wanted last time or what I said was wrong. So I showed up with pictures this time. First she told me my dog didn't have the same type of hair as the dog in the pic (the pic was a Yorkie) my dog is a (maltese/yorkie). Granted, his hair is not long and silky but it sure is straight and long so the cut I wanted wasn't exactly out of the question. Anyhow, being told I wouldn't get the cut I wanted...I opted for the trim which includes trimming the face, sanitary areas and paws with nails clipped and a bath afterwards.
Picked him up...and the only difference I can see was his nails were clipped and the fur on his paws were cut. The face...NO DIFFERENCE and I specifically asked to have it cut very short on his face. Anyways...I gave them 1 star for good customer service and getting everything done quickly...and 1 more star for the affordable price of $35 for a small breed cut w/o using scissors AND they gave my other dog a free nail trim because it was her first time.
I guess you get what you pay for? If anyone knows a groomer who won't charge me more than $50 for a NICEEEEEE cut for my puppy, please tell me. :)
