| - I so wanted to give this place 5 stars, but unfortunately it was only a 3.5 star experience so we'll round up to 4.
I met some friends here that were staying at the Wynn. We tried to get a table and were told it was min. $1500 outside, $2000 inside. We said ok, but then several minutes later were informed the tables were sold out. So why did we even have this discussion? Oddly enough we saw several tables that were empty. Hmmm... Our group consisted of 5 girls, 3 guys. We ended up paying to bypass the line: $100 for guys, $50 for girls $550 total. We were let in after a short wait. The club was packed and it had only just opened. We made our way outside just so we could have some room.
The center bar outdoors was ridiculous! We waited forever just to be waited on, getting annoyed that the people who were behind us kept squeezing their way to the front and getting helped first. The bartenders were not at all paying attention to who'd been waiting longer and were not taking orders in any sort of order. The drinks were small (much smaller than the comped drinks in the casino), and like normal Vegas, hella expensive. One round of 2 Redbull vodkas, 1 Bud Light and 2 vodka tonics was $98, and aside from the beer they were about 8oz. each! We continued to order drinks but after two rounds we started buying them from outdoor the bar on the side which seemed a little less crowded.
The music was fantastic and made you want to dance. There was plenty of eye candy as well as people watching - several creeper dudes on their own gawking, but hey they paid to get in too right?
We finally decided to get closer to the DJ so we moved indoors which is a funny thing to say, because once we got indoors we literally could not move! Seriously! In the walkways it was a serious fire hazard waiting to happen. People packed so hard together you could have been groped or pick pocketed without ever even knowing it because their were drinks in your face, arms in your back and you moved about an inch every 30 second. NOT enjoyable at all.
It was a crowded and pricey night out but I'm sure I'll be back again. For those who are visiting Vegas, there are a ton of Clubs with lower cover to get in, a lot less crowded inside and music just as happening.
