I have been coming to the Rio since they were still working on the first tower. Well over 20 years now. I have had a few issues over the years but this is still my home away from home in Las Vegas. I have tried many of the other so call "strip" hotels and most are over rated. I also should say I am a long time Diamond gambler with Caesars. It helps a lot make no mistake.
I read some of these reviews with amusement that folks want diamond service and don't even gamble. HELLO......it's Las Vegas they want gamblers! If you want a 5 star hotel go to Palm Springs or Hawaii......Vegas caters to gamblers folks!
I never wait to check in, get my car from valet.....or to eat in any place inside the Rio or any other Caesars hotel in Las Vegas. I also have a casino host to make my arrangements. Yes it's a perk....but I earn it by gambling on my trips here.
Also remember that all employees here are minimum wage folks....and a well placed "TIP" works wonders! Tip the bellman, the bartender, the sports book employee, the slot folks, the waiters/waitresses...and guess what........you'll be surprised.
If you're a cheapskate that can't afford a hold on your credit card for a room.....go somewhere else. This is VEGAS! There is perks for gamblers.....and then there is everyone else.......
I'll be going back to the Rio because I know most all the employees here and they treat me great!
