I've had better food at Olive Garden and I typically do not eat at chain restaurants. The watermelon salad I ordered, which, by my mistake of thinking it was a salad with greens, was cubed watermelon, 4 olives and a hint of shredded mint. (I couldn't find the feta which was supposed to be on it) I asked for chicken to be added. It came with a few very thin limp cold pieces of shredded chicken. The pasta dish my boyfriend ordered was over cooked and salty. The soup he ordered had very little flavor too.
We asked about the Yelp check-in complimentary glass of wine with an entree and said we both had one. He said no problem and then told us what wine he was going to bring us as though there wasn't a choice. When the check came there was an $8.50 charge for one of the glasses. I got a little attitude going, stating had I known that I would not have accepted the wine he brought. He did take the charge off the bill, which was appreciated.
The service was decent but the atmosphere was minimal. It reminded me of a simple pizza joint, however, the prices were not reflective of that. Overpriced in my opinion.
Would I return? No.
