My family and I were visiting from Denver, Colorado and we were excited to find a Peruvian restaurant in Toronto. We ordered a ceviche mixto and lomo saltado, the presentation was beautiful and the dishes looked very appetizing. However, when I took a bite of the ceviche, my tastebuds were dumbfounded with the high level of acidity...I wasn't a fan. I asked for a side of huancaina sauce to mix with the ceviche but the sauce didn't have any flavor, it was just a cream but it needed salt and ají amarillo. There is good news though, the lomo saltado lived up to the appearance and it was rather tasty.
