| - We have been having several problems with this center every since the previous director left a 4 months ago. My son was in the 1-2 year old class room with Ms. Lucinda, she was great! She really cared for the children and was amazing with our son he loved going to class everyday.
Upon our son turning 3 years old he was moved into another class with 3-4 year old children. Where his new teacher was also wonderful but he had accidents sometimes but not too crazy, I just called the school and asked that they remind him to potty more often. She was pregnant and had to leave for maternity.
Then my son got another teacher, a man that was not there long enough for us to even remember his name. The male teacher sent my son home with full load of feces in his underwear, rashes on his behind because the center said that they were instructed not to assist children in wiping after potting, eventhough our son just learned how to poop less then 2 months ago.
Then that male teacher also left and my son was moved to yet another classroom with a blonde female teacher (never learned her name because he was also moved from her several times) that was overwhelmed with children. Her class size was clearly over the allow maximum number of children. I witnesses children hitting other classmates, climbing and jumping off of furniture I asked her about her class size and she said that Achilles would be moved into another class after the other teacher came in at 9am. Which we did not know that our son would be moved yet again with another teacher during the day.
During all the classroom changes our son was having more and more accidents throughout the day to the point he had used all three changes of clothing provided in his bag. I called 2 times to see why he was having so many accidents and for the Center to please remind him to potty. When I went to drop off my son in the morning about a month ago I found out that the bathrooms in the classrooms are LOCKED. I asked why were they locked, because is was probably why my son was having so many accidents and I was told that the children have to ask to used the bathroom to prevent children from going into the bathrooms and playing in the water. But this was causing my son to have frequent accidents and waiting to the last minute to potty which resulted in him peeing on the floor to relieve himself.
Currently in the last 2 months our son has had 6 different teachers! And currently has 3-4 teachers throughout his current day!
During all this our son has started to display behavioral problems that he was never done before; hitting other classmates, climbing and jumping off of furniture. Which was the SAME bad behavior that the other children were displaying in the blonde female teacher's class that he is in every morning before he is switched to yet another teacher! Also every morning when I drop him off he does not want to go into the classroom, he backs up like something is wrong and does not want to go inside as if something is wrong with the teacher or classmates.
Now my son is singled out as a bad child when he was NEVER written up or display any aggression or poor behavior until this all started less than 3 months ago, we even asked the director and assistant director for documents of poor behavior from previous months before they were hired (directors only working at the center 3 months) and NOTHING was found, only reports of other children hitting our son.
Daycare teachers has told my husband upon picking up our son that there has been trouble with other students due to all the switching of rooms and teachers, also that teachers have left or are leaving due to management of the center!
We are strongly worried that now our son has picked up these bad behaviors from your center and will take this behavior to a new center, but today was the last straw for us and we are unenrolling our son in Bright Horizons Centers.
