*this review is solely based on an interaction with an intake nurse*
Went in for a scheduled surgery the morning of 10/13/16. The nurse that put in my IV/catheter completely jacked up my arm. I now look like a drug addict, which I am not. She was not prepared at all. At one point after she inserted needle into my arm, she told me not to move. She had to walk across the room and get tape while it just hung out of my arm. I have absolutely no issues with needles but this one hurt like hell. She disregarded my complaints, until I had to point out my arm doubled its size. She begrudgingly took it out, with no apology and prepared to stick my other arm(she rolled her eyes). As if this was my fault. The second stick in my other arm, in her words 'was a crime scene' went better minus my blood getting EVERYWHERE. Again, she forgot some of her 'supplies' and walked away from me. Thank god the second stick worked, I was on my last nerve with her, this was my very first surgery after all. I understand nurses are not perfect, but what she (I think her name was Lynn. Not to be confused with my surgery nurse-she was awesome) displayed was incompetence and sheer unprofessional behavior. This is utterly unacceptable from a heath care provider. Please see my photo, it's disturbing.
