| - Anna and Tom are no longer at this location. The new owner is a total flake. I have been going to this place since they opened. On my last visit, I asked for my usual fill and pedicure with Chrome Luster. I have always paid $60 for everything. Always. I asked how much to paint my little girls hands and feet and she told me $16. Unaware that they were under ownership, I was NOT told that they would be charging me $40 extra for the Chrome which I always got, and an extra $24 for Callus removal. The technician who did my fill and pedi never informed me of any changes that had been made since my last visit. Wen I went to check out I was absolutely floored to find out that they were charging me $145! I have never paid $145 for a fill and pedicure and my little girls nails painted. Ever! I don't know who would pay that outrageous amount!
I asked to speak with Anna because I was floored that they would charge me that amount. It was at that point that I was told they moved to Chandler and were under ownership. I asked to speak with the manager and was told she wasn't there. So I left my phone number and told them to call me.
The very next morning I went back and showed them how the Chrome was already chipping and fading!!! I was livid but kept my cool and told them to make sure the owner contacted me. They said they could redo it right then but I told them I couldn't because I am a single mom, work 4 jobs and had to go to work. I also explained to the lady that I could only make a specific time to come back because of all of my schedules. She said she understood and would tell the owner to call me.
The owner NEVER contacted me.
I called and left a message the first week, the second, and the third. Still NO call back.
I finally had the time to go in after the 3rd time to see what could be worked out because I was due for a fill. I was told at that time the only thing they were willing to do was give me a 10% discount on my fill and pedicure.
Needless to say, I was really upset. Being a brand new business owner, knowing you were taking on loyal customers to the establishment since it's onset, you would think you would do everything possible to make your customers happy. I was overcharged $64 and when I asked them to work with me to make it right, especially after they chipped the very next day, I was treated like my loyalty and business didn't matter to them. I was given a nasty attitude and was told "Oh well!"
Trust me... GO SOMEPLACE ELSE. There are so many nail salons everywhere you go. Competition is fierce. Treating loyal customers the way this place did is absolutely unacceptable. I have taken my business elsewhere and will tell others too also. If they treat just one customer this way, it's only a matter of time before they do it again. I work really hard for my money and to be taken advantage of the way I was, with hidden fees, outrageous mark ups, and disgraceful customer service is bad business in any industry. But it's especially bad when you provide a service where competition is so fierce. Really disappointed with the new owner.
This is my honest review and I hope it helps some of you make the right choice.
