| - Our experience with St. Luke's was as good as it gets. In fact, I am surprised by some of the other negative reviews. From the moment my wife was taken to the emergency room to the minute she left the hospital ICU one week later, she was treated professionally with utmost in care and concern. Every staff member including the admissions personnel, emergency room staff, ICU staff (doctors, nurses, dietitians, records personnel even the janitorial staff) were attentive, understanding, helpful, polite, accommodating and extremely professional. My wife was in critical condition for several days preceding her eventual successful heart procedure. All four doctors (Emergency, ICU Attending, Neurologist and ElectroPhysiologist) showed genuine concern and communicated effectively during and after treatment on my wife. The nursing staff treated and administered care at the highest level always showing respect...often with humor but always dignified. They made the very stressful situation "bearable". I plan to write a letter to the hospital administrator commending each and every staff member with whom we had contact...they were all exceptional.
