  • I am here to offer a factual and unbiased review of my experience at Men's Wearhouse at 16840 N 77Th Ave. I went to Men's Wearhouse initially at the end of January to get measured for four suits for my wedding that occurred in mid-March; 3 for fully grown men and 1 for a young ring bearer. The Good: - Every employee I interacted with was in fact very friendly and pleasant to deal with. I have no complaints on the demeanour of any of the employees. - There is a decent selection of suit combinations to pick from for rental with a variety of accessories and colors. The Bad: - Multiple visits prior to the event (and even the day of) were required to get things correct. See below for details. I visited the store a total of 3 times to get measurements and subsequently correct issues with measurements. For instance, my initial visit an employee had entered in my chest size as approximately 6" bigger than what I really was. Had I not gone a 2nd time to confirm measurements for a groomsman, this error would not have been corrected for me. - Multiple items were "missing" from my rental. These items included: suspenders, pocket squares, and shoes. I specifically requested all of these items at the time of the initial rental as well as subsequent visits. I was told that suspenders were not requested, despite having a witness to the contrary, and that I would need to pay extra to get them. I declined out of principle. My ring bearer's dress shirt was obscenely too large for him. To put it in perspective, he is a 5 year old boy and was given the proper fitting jacket but the shirt was nearly double the size of the jacket itself. I cannot fathom the thought process behind that. Additionally, his shoes were not included in the rental which required another trip back to the store to get. Apparently the employee who took his measurements and put it into the system forgot to enter in his shoe size. I had to correct all of his suit issues on the actual day of my wedding. That is unacceptable. To top off the missing items, I was not given pocket squares which I had also specifically requested. I purchased these for myself and my wedding party as an additional expense. All in all, please do not try this store for rentable items if you can avoid it. I know, I am the type of person who likes to see things for myself and takes reviews with a grain of salt, but trust me, this is not something you want to gamble on when you have a big event occurring. Do you really want to be correcting employee mistakes on the actual day of your wedding? Take it from me, you do not need that added stress. I cannot in good conscience recommend this Men's Wearhouse to those looking to rent suits. This poor experience has made me a customer who will forever swear off this location for renting a suit.
