Went in here looking at a Ford Fiesta ST and a Ford Focus ST. After getting the usual BS pitch about how "rare" these cars are (aka, we're not negotiating with you, take it or leave it), I get more horrible pitches and pressure about the cars. The issue was, both cars I test drove didn't have exactly what I wanted from an options perspective, so I was considering buying new instead. But not from these guys.
I laugh about the Focus ST that was going to "fly off the shelves" according to my sales person. That car sat for the next 2 months and after several price drops they finally got rid of it, after definitely losing money on it.
I ended up buying a Ford from another local dealer because they had what I wanted in stock. Both Cochran and Woltz & Wind were much easier to deal with when I was shopping, and didn't try to give me the run around.
Sales people need to be retrained. You can't run a dealership treating potential customers like idiots. Doesn't fly today.
