Kew Gardens near The Beaches has historical significance as there was a memorial piece as I passed along towards the path. I walked along and noticed a Playground packed with Kindergarten Children playing, running around and swimming in the wading pool. You might have a CHILD from time to time get past the gates and do a mad dash towards inside of the Park.
It's a good sized Park for jogging, walking the Dog(Designated Area), and even Picnics as there is a cool BREEZE coming from the Beach as it is steps away. If you don't want sand all over your picnic meal at the Beach, come over here to enjoy first. Bicycles aren't really acceptable on the walking path but I had one blow by me heading towards the Bike Path along the Beach. There is a Bandstand, Baseball Field and also some Tennis Courts nearby.
In terms of GTA is concerned it's not that huge as I can walk along the paths under 15 minutes or so back towards Queen Street East. The Park has good amount of large TREES for shade as you notice couples underneath or even people enjoying a good book. As long as you're not too close by towards the Playground, it gets hectic there.
