Came here on a recommendation based on the owner's reputation. The shop had a good local vibe and the kids behind the counter were cheerful and friendly.
But if you admit you can't pour me a ristretto "because the machine is not calibrated for it", then homes, in the words of Aphex Twin, "you need to take your momma car home".
A good spot for the layman, but this is not Toronto's answer to SF's Bluebottle or Seattle's Vivace.
