If I could put a negative I would. Now the staff was fine.. I've read what many others have said about MAs and PAs and NPs but I seen Dr Holt. He actually didn't review my chart until I was in the room with him. Not only are three discs in my spine out of Wack but I now have A very bad case of Arthritis in my lower back region. Over the years the pain have gotten worst and I've allowed doctors to do this and do that until we found a method that actually worked. I know they run the DEA report to make sure there is no funny business going on but my complaint is Why have me waste my time and gas just to be told that they don't believe in writing anything over Percocet?? I mean you have my records and clearly seen what I am taking, why not call me and say " you might not want to come to us because we do not write oxycodone at all" ! But the part that really frustrated me was how he had me doing all these stretches and bends, which then made my back to start to spasm then look at me and say I can't help you from a medication perspective but I can open your back up and place a camera in it to guide a needle to the part that has the arthritis and put some medicine directly on it.... WHAT!!! If you don't write for pain medication why the hell would I let you open my back up? Then you want to take away what does work and replace it with a more painful treatment and make me suffer through it!! Dr Holt kept talking about his wish to be on an island in Hawaii... Well maybe you should stop saying your a pain management Doctor and focus on Physical Therapy because no Doctor in their right mind would actually make a person suffer just because of your personal issues!! *I would advise anyone to seek treatment elsewhere if you are a person on Tramodol, Oxycodone , Norco etc.... But if your blessed to not have chronic pain.... Have at it! I think they just like collecting insurance money....
Dr Holt was also very surprised that I refused his RX.... It was an insult and he should be ashamed of himself!!
