  • I am not accustomed to reviewing franchised shoe stores, but as one who does decidedly not like to shop, I feel a shout out in order for DSW. I have shopped here and in Chicago for shoes and boots on a number of occasions. The combination of a non-claustrophobic store layout, a streamlined display, and a reasonably-priced selection of various name brands, I was happy as a clam as I shopped here recently for athletic shoes. With a narrowed down selection, and easy sale pricing, I found a great pair of Nike shoes for $45.00. Signing up at the register for their loyalty card got me a $10.00 off coupon for my next visit. Even on Saturday, the store was not crowded. Staff was available to check inventory for my size. As a non-shopper, I couldn't have been more pleased with the process or the price. I'll be heading back here with my coupon sooner than later.
