rev:text	I was actually seeing a different podiatrist however due to some drama with THAT doc, my co-worker referred me to his friend Dr. Wood. Having my foot surgery postponed twice & up against a deadline with my health insurer I literally had 2 weeks to find a new doc & have this surgery. I met with Dr Wood once and my surgery was done within the week. Now...everyone's situation will be different and surgery may not be necessary BUT I tore the peroneous brevis tendon 2 years ago & it just wasn't healing. A quick review of my last MRI & symptomology and it was a no brainer. I also had an ingrown nail on the same foot and he took care of that during the surgery too. During the surgery there were a few surprises he found but took care of it. I am 2 months post op & my incision looks great. I am happy with it. The pain I experienced the last 2 years is no longer present; I'm just dealing with post surgical swelling, tightness & discomfort. I'd call it a success. He's a nice guy. Straight and to the point. Up beat. Laid back. Easy going. Fills out your FMLA papers with you in the office so you don't have to wait for them like you do with some doctors. I have never waited more than 10 minutes to be seen. I have always received a reminder call the day before an appointment. The girls are really nice & helpful. I'd recommend seeing him if your foot is bugging ya. He's pretty no nonsense. When I showed him what my prior podiatrist was going to do surgically, not only was I not aware of a few procedures she had planned but he & I discussed it and didn't see any reason to do it unless I wanted it done. If I have any further issues with my feet...I'll see him again.
