My experience here was overall great. I typically go when there isn't a lot of people. They are quick with their service which is great if your are hungry. I went with the large portion of yojie cut meat called samurai. Lots of food barely finished it. However, the next time I went I got the medium portion of yojie cut meat called geisha, still filled me up. So portion sizes are great and you get the complimentary veggies, udon noodles and rice (brown or white) with your meal.
I always get the Sukiyaki broth which comes with a pasteurized egg. Haven't tried the others, but maybe I will next time.
Glad this shabu shabu place is near me on the west side of town. It beats going into the town.
