  • I lived here couple years now and this is what I had to experience in the 3 years I've been here... DRYER FIRE- to this day, no one knows what happened. I had to be out of my apartment for over a month. The sprinklers did not even go off when the laundry room filled with fire and smoke. Keep in mind, no one keeps maintenance logs in this apartment. I actually had the staff fight me on changing apartments and were insisting I stay in the same place. What a painful process that was. After moving into a new apartment FLOOD - the dishwater upstairs did not shut off and it flooded my whole ceiling. A steady stream of water was flowing from my ceiling for over 12 hours. Again, the office staff were so unfriendly and even told me I was being rude for wanting someone immediately to come out and do something. It was end of the day, I get you wanted to go home but don't push me out of the office and tell me you'll look into it tomorrow. No sorry for inconvenience, just please leave the office so we can go home. The crew came in the next day to fix my ceiling, left at the end of the day and never to be heard from again. I had to go to the office and call them to remind them that it's been couple weeks and the holes are still in my ceiling. Finally after forcing attention to the matter, everything was "fixed". My ceiling was different colors for months. It actually still is, but it's scheduled to be fixed. Plus it smells awful, I don't think it was fixed properly but if you ask them, it's fixed and smell does not matter, it looks fine. I wouldn't be fetching far if I suggested that there might be something molding up there. APARTMENT KEYS LOST (TWICE) - yes! Exactly what you read. Shortly after receiving a voicemail from the from office requesting for me to stop by so they can have a copy of my key, I asked for the locks to be changed. I had them changed while I was standing there. The maintenance gave me a key and took another one to the office. Guess what??? My key were lost AGAIN. It was insisted that I kept all the copies. I am not sure why I would go through trouble of changing locks so I can keep all of them and have you call me again to ask for a copy of my key. If you do simple math, my keys have not been in the office for over a year. TERMITES - yep! I'll attach a picture. It just happened that I learned I share a wall with termites. It will be a week and a half before someone comes and looks at it. In the meantime, I need to be content with termites. NO SMOKE FREE PROPERTY - it's been noticed by myself and many other residences that this is not a smoke free property as advertised. In fact their staff smokes on property. If you smoke on property, your breaching your lease, but if their staff smokes on property, it's "Well we are working on it!" Forget about the small stuff like upkeep of the property or super noisy upstairs neighbors due to wood flooring. Or not so nice office staff who always forget who you are even if your apartment has holes in the ceiling. That's nothing to me now. I gave my 30 days to move out. It was a last minute decision and I had enough. I learned that you need a 60 day notice, which is truly my bad. It's my first apartment renting. However with recently my keys being lost again and termites now, I hoped they would just let me go. But after a long time reasoning and fighting with it, they insist on me staying for extra 30 days past my lease. If you want a genuine staff that will understand that you deal with too much, they won't. It's about money and them squeezing and extra months of rent out of you. It goes in this order, money and than you if they care enough. Thank the Lord I'll be out of there soon!
