  • I used to go to Model nails frequently with Lisa and the partner. I knew she and partner had sold ... and I did not go back. Until this Wed., April 25, 2018. I went in and asked the gal for a early Fri morning appointment. She said she could do it today. I recomfirmed, "Friday, early, for Manicure". She said she opened at 9:30, asked my name but wrote nothing down. This morning at 9:20 I was sitting in front of the business, and at 9:30 waited for it to open. At 9:45 a truck pulled up, a gentlemen opened the doors and I followed. I told him I had an appointment at 9:30 for a manicure with French nails. He was on the phone, kept talking to his phone contact, sat down at a Pedi station and started running water. Then he said "you sit here". I said "First of all my appointment was 9:30, not 9:50, I am on a schedule, secondly I had appointment for Manicure, and I told YOU manicure, not pedicure, and third, it is very hot, can you turn the A/C on?". No, boss not here, she is on her way.... (this was 9:58). I told him "never mind". I went down the road to another nail business, got right in, had my lovely french manicure and got a 20% discount for new customer. I cannot imagine having a business of any kind and not have the business open when the hours are posted. Do not recommend this place. At all.... I should have read the reviews before even trying Model Nails again.
