| - If you're looking for a great workout, that's fun, and surrounded by a great staff, you need to give Title Boxing a try. I learned about Title Boxing a few months before they opened at this location. I met with one of the owners, Steve, who explained the concept, the form, and the classes. When I came back in after they opened, he remembered my name and I was able to learn the basics before my first class. It took about ten minutes to go through the core concepts used in each class (I'm sure it will take me a lot longer to master them).
The classes are a complete butt kick, but in a good way. There is an initial warm-up period that gets your heart rate up and muscles stretched. Then there are 8 three minute rounds (separated by one minute rest periods), in which different punch combinations are used on the bag. At the end, there is a 14 minute core workout. Everything can be modified to suit your skill and strength level.
I did orange theory for a number of years and really enjoyed it, but Title Boxing - Arcadia is significantly better in terms of environment, enjoyment, and results!
