After a very tumultuous time in Las Vegas the gem of the trip was Canaletto in the Venetian. It is right in the middle of the canal shopping area. Our waiters were attentive and the food was delicious. We came for a very late seating around 10pm and the service did not suffer one bit. We would have thought we were their first customers of the day.
Bread = perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft and doughy inside with olive oil and vinegar for dipping.
Seafood Pasta - Pasta was perfect al dente and the seafood was very fresh and flavorful.
I don't remember what the dish I had was called, but it was pasta stuffed with chicken and lots of yummy sauce...it was extremely rich and heavy but was worth every bite.
Last but not least, our champagne drinks infused with strawberry puree was a real treat.
I highly recommend this restaurant.
