| - Zero customer service skills. I walked in with my son to have his hair cut, no acknowledgment or anything. That should have been my first clue that this establishment isn't worth the money. When I was finally addressed I was informed they were closed, but the door was open. Of course, I should have read the business hours, however I manage a bank and when we close we lock the doors whether or not we still have customers. When I said "oh the doors are open." I was informed they cannot lock everyone inside. Common sense tells me that they wouldn't remain locked inside, once their service is complete you collect payment and walk them to the door, a lot easier then telling people "we are closed!" No suggested solution such as "can you come back tomorrow, we open at ...?" I suppose customer service is a thing of the past and expecting it is to much. I assume by the lack of service, the stylists are unaware of how word of mouth works, statistics show that 1 bad experience an individual will share with at least 10 people, but I good experience rarely gets shared. If you have any business sense I would believe you would rather, at minimum, have the later happen. If it were me, I would want to ensure each customer had the best memorable experience so they return and hopefully share with others how happy they are.
