It's not bad, but it's not the best either. I was really excited to give Wicked Spoon a try. My hotel status gives me complimentary breakfast/brunch buffet so I got up early to try it out with my girlfriend.
The service was quick and attentive. Part of the reason for that could be because we came here at 8am so there weren't a lot of people yet. Nonetheless our server was quick with our requests and taking away the plates for us.
As for their food, I would have to say 3/5 Stars. It was good. Just not great. They have a variety of different dishes from different cuisines. Unlike at Bachanal the prime rib station has pre-cut slices so that is a perk. You don't have to wait for someone to cut it for you. My favorite two dishes of the brunch were the soft-scrambled eggs and the hash brown casserole. They both were flavorful and demonstrated good cooking technique. I expected the soft-scrambled eggs to be harder and more dense because of the heat lamp but it was surprisingly well cooked and textured. The sushi is very disproportional though. They give you about 3/4s rice and 1/4 fish. I'd love to see half and half or at least thicker cuts of fish on top. The other dishes that I tried were pretty much average.
Everything tastes better than a cheaper buffet like Zen Buffet but it doesn't compare the Bacchanal.
