  • I booked a treatment after Xmas with a personal credit card to hold the appointment although I did explain that I did have a gift card I wanted to use. He stated the CC was just to hold it and I could pay with the gift card after the treatment. I came here right after Christmas but before New Years which was a big mistake. I felt rushed the entire time which led me to believe they overbooked. I got there 10 minutes earlier (standard 15min. is advised though) and it took them over 10 minutes to check me in. The waiting lounge was completely full and when I was given the consultation form, the lady grabbed it from me before I was done and took me directly to the room instead of the locker area. I got the 'contour and firm' body treatment which is an algae wrap which is a little itchy. The esthetician was nice enough but still felt a little rushed during the treatment. Melissa (esthetician) took me the locker room and introduced me to the spa attendant and asked her to show me around after I put my stuff away in the locker. But she was already showing another person the facility after I was ready and another so I never got the tour. I was a little lost at first but figured out everything on my own. It is one of the most beautiful spa facility's I have been in with excellent views and the employees were all completely friendly but since they were either short staffed that day or over booked I didn't feel like I was able to relax. I enjoyed the steam room (there was no body scrub to use), took a shower and just wanted to leave. They don't have much amenities I was able to use after the shower. I used body lotion and I couldn't find face creme so I had to ask the attendant to get me some. Everything else was pretty basic deodorant, brushes and they did have high end oribe hair products. I paid with my gift card after the treatment along with some oribe hair products (gel and serum) and left. My CC was still charged afterwards for the treatment only so I had to call and get that corrected. I advise not to go anywhere near the holidays and to check your CC statement carefully if you decide to come here. I would give this place one more try but would like to try Qua and the Encore spa's first.
