| - First, let me say that if you are under 40 and single, don't read this review because you're going to love this place! It's basically a two-floor nightclub with hotel rooms. The front desk staff graduated from high school probably last week. Worse, if you look like you don't belong, they pretty much would rather you changed your mind and went elsewhere. If you are over 40, married, and just want a nice room with the usual Starwood amenities for a frequent guest, there are several other great Starwood hotels in Scottsdale--find one of those. When we checked in we were given a form--"Sweet Dreams Policy"--that outlined all of the party no no's they expected you to observe. But the fact that you had to sign the form makes it clear there is a all night party happening there. Would have been nice had they sent that when we reserved the room many months ago so we could have booked something else. The rooms are certainly hip--if you don't mind almost no privacy in the bathroom. So again, pay no attention to this review if you are looking to get hammered, hook up, and listen to loud music all night long with a billion other Millennials. But if you just want a hotel room where you can unwind and be pampered by good, old fashioned service and amenities, this ain't your place!
