  • We liked the movers, super nice guys, but oh my goodness, $750?! We were moving a 3 room townhome and everything was confined into a garage. They showed up, were super nice, accommodating, our belongings arrived safe, and they took great pride in making sure of that. however, once we arrived at the delivery site, that's when we found out what we were in for. I wish everything was upfront. There was a trip charge of $40, a minimum 3 hours loading charge, a manditory insurance fee of $60, and a packaging charge for wrapping some dressers. Oh and if they needed to do two trips, they charge you another trip charge and another 3 hr minimum. The movers showed up at 11, on time, and finished by 5, but somehow we paid them more than $100/hour?? Also, they left a few items in the garage, in their defense, maybe we should have instructed them before they left but nonetheless we still have to move more boxes ourselves. Overall I was happy with their disposition and work effort, but I wish it was a better deal like I was looking for when I found them on craigslist. I should have looked on yelp.
