rev:text	I was looking for a nice betta fish and knew there were a few fish stores along Steeles Ave. This was the first one that I drove by, so I decided to stop in. I also have a betta fish suffering from fin rot and I tried to ask the sales associate what I can for him. I told him what I had been doing already and his response was pretty much, your betta's done for. Fair enough. I wasn't expecting too much of a response. Onto the betta fish. They have quite a few half moons, veil tails, and crown tails. That being said, they're kept in very poor conditions. Some visibly had fin rot and they were still for sale. I didn't feel like going to all the other fish stores, so I decided on the healthiest betta I could find. He was $15, which is a fair price for a half moon betta fish. I asked if they knew the age of their bettas, since they're a lot bigger than my other one. Their only response was "they're full grown." That doesn't really help; I could have figured that one out on my own. I wouldn't be to keen on buying a fish more than a year old. I asked if they had a guarantee on their fish, which they don't. Kind of a bummer if I spend $15 on one fish and have it kick the bucket from the shock of being in very poor conditions to being in liveable ones. Upon further inspection, the betta I purchased from them also has fin rot. There's nothing I can do except nurse him back to health, since I know for a fact that they won't take him back. On the plus side, there's no tax if you pay cash.
