Wholey's is my go to place in Pittsburgh for meat, and not just fish. They have an amazing selection of fresh seafood at very reasonable prices. This week fresh salmon fillets were $5.99 a pound and swordfish steaks were $7.99 a pound. The quality is super high and the results delicious! I have bought the bulk filet mignon a few times at 9.99-11.99 a pound and grilled it whole, which turns out to be an easy and awesome meal for a group. They also have a nice selection of prepared foods and produce, all at great prices, including Andy's sushi right up front as well as lobster rolls outside and freshly shucked oysters. This is a near weekly stop for me even though it's a bit of a drive. If you live near Pittsburgh please do yourself a favour and give Wholey's a try.
