| - NOPE! WALK AWAY:
Apartment you should expect: The apartments have very thin walls so get ready to say "God Bless you" every time your neighbors sneeze. I got used to waking up in the middle of the night to hear all the details of my neighbor's intimate nights. Landscaping blows dirt inside your porch and front door every week because the walls do not seal it out. Within 6 months, their maintenance fixed my water heater twice (i.e., no hot water each time for multiple days), my washer connections once, sprayed the apartment because it was infested with little bugs, unclogged the tub.
Community I experienced: The community has a terrible parking situation. 10% of the time my parking spot was violated. Had to file 3 complaints, got zero responses. They claim that backing up in parking spaces is illegal but they don't enforce it. This is just an example of how management randomly enforces rules. Their "luxurious" pool area is always full of screaming kids, good luck resting during the weekend or during pool hours especially if you are living close to the pool area. Thrash bins are full 7 days of the week. It sounds unreal but they do not adequately dispose thrash. Dogs poop in the grass but nobody picks up after them. Management randomly cares about it. If either one of hygiene, peace or tranquility matters to you, STAY AWAY from Lore.
Management issues: Day 1: Office lost the keys during our move-in. Later, manager (Bianca) tried to charge me $5 because i did not have it during check out. She was defending herself by saying "I did not lose it" blaming her own office for losing it so she can cover herself. She gets angry/emotional and her immature manners make the management operation very unprofessional. Luckily, their handyman made us a new set of keys while we waited in our U-Haul. Handyman (AJ) is a superstar and this apartment complex is so lucky to have him. He has been a blessing. Basically him and Kristen are running the show. They compensate for the incompetent, unprofessional and rude manager as the best they can.
Attitude you should expect from the manager: She is super sweet until you sign the lease. But as I mentioned above, the manager is incompetent and imprudent. Even though I declared that I was moving out at least three times I was only given papers to sign on my third attempt (thanks to Kristen she actually saved the day). Manager did not even take 10% of the responsibility and charged me a full $1000 penalty. Once again Kristen saved me from a total of $2000 penalty by acknowledging my notice. I brought this up to the regional management I was told "I make this same conversation six times a day, you did not give a written notice so it does not matter if you told the office you are leaving, we can make you a payment plan or we are going to collection". So you can do the math. They do this conversation 6 times/day.
During some of the uncomfortable conversations Bianca was showing unpleasant, hostile and spiteful emotional reactions. She could not handle the stress that our situation naturally brought to us. Kristen and the regional manager were able to keep their professional attitude and kindness. Bianca turned her back to us in the middle of a conversation and walked away. She stopped responding to my emails (again thanks to Kristen I got responses). Bianca also made me wait 25 minutes during a weekday to make a payment plan and then decided to do it another day in our first attempt. Because she cannot manage her time just like her stress and emotions, she is light years away from being a professional no need to mention being a manager. She tried utilizing religious views to argue and manipulate one conversation. She was making angry faces and rolling her eyes even though she was not the one losing $1000 over a trivial matter. Do yourself a favor. WALK AWAY.
