  • Contrary to other people's opinions, I actually like this store. If for no other reason than they are independent, no big budgets or ad campaigns & the staff is pretty on the ball. The only thing I don't care for is their need to push media whore garbage like 'Twilight' lunch boxes, etc. Although, they do have some interesting fridge magnets. (I collect them...I know, we all collect something). They seem to have an odd way of keeping inventory on CD's by taping index cards to them. WTF? Old school perhaps, but they've had a couple of hard-to-finds that I was looking for, and I happily bagged those suckers! My first love HMV is right across the street, but it doesn't hurt to check in here. I've actually found a couple of times that they were 2 or 3 bucks cheaper on some CD's.
