  • When you can't get to Katz Deli in NYC Jason Deli is a decent alternative. Like most deli's the portion sizes are rather large so consider sharing. I had a half pastrami sandwich on rye with a side salad and couldn't finish it all. The pastrami was melt in your mouth good but the rye bread was a little too gummy for my taste. Jason's Deli has a great salad bar as well - perfect for lunch! Service was okay, although I waited a bit to put in my order because the cashier was on the phone.
