  • This park is amazing! We've been waiting for this park to open for some time now and watched it being built from dirt as we moved into the Altura community. Yah!!! Positives: -It's huge! How many acres is this park on?!!! Awesome for our kids! -A good variety of playground activities from wall climbing, slides, swings, and a large and small zip line! - More for older kids. My 5&7 year olds love this place already but we do see lots of High School kids coming out too. -Lots of grass area for those that like to run around and play tag or chase! -It is not like any other park in Summerlin! You could call it a very modern and cool park. What it doesn't have: (Not necessarily negative) - No splash pad area so I don't know how this place will do when it gets to over 100 in Vegas - My second time there, my kids were rolling around in the grass and I saw doggie poop in the grass!!!!! I need a doggie poop police at this park! I won't let my kids roll in the grass anymore. Come on people, pick up your dogs poop!!! - No basketball, baseball, or tennis courts. No big deal! - No standard swing sets. Just one round circular one that can seat two people. All in all, it's a great park! I wouldn't want it to be like any other park because there is already a VIsta Park and a Paseo park that I can go to. This is definitely more for older kids maybe like Kindergarten and up. Love!!
