General Suggestions: Don't go during the weekend! Have at least $10 cash per person.
I've been going to Lazy Jane's for years and have always had amazing food up until the last two times. I am not sure if I was simply unlucky, but I felt the consistency problems should be reported. On the last visit, I went with some friends from out of town and all four breakfast items were cold and tasteless. I had never had such bland tasting food at Lazy Janes, even their potatoes were not the same.
On the last two visits I ordered my usual morning bun as well and both times it was extremely dry and not the same as I had been getting for the past five years.
If you go there during lunch hours, I would recommend the artichoke heart sandwich, always a good choice. Though I do not like potato chips in general and their homemade ones are no exception, I would reccommend substituted for the greens, as they have a very peculiar, strong dressing they top them with that does not agree with my tongue.
The staff is always very warm and welcoming. The seating situation is laid-back which is nice, but also annoying if you have a large group. What I would like to see is an additional location opened.
I hope my next visit is the Lazy Jane's I used to love...
