Tried to contact the owners. The link on their website doesn't do anything. Im sure with their horrible customer service that the last thing they want is feedback. I remember 5 years ago I went in with my daughter, A guy who looked like he just got done working on his car ran up and started yelling that my daughter was not allowed in the store. Said they were giving out tastings and she had to leave immediately. I never heard of that, have been in many other liquor stores and never been screamed at to immediately leave.
I waited 5 years to give them a second chance. I went in for a bottle of Masala wine for cooking a chicken dish. I asked where it was located. Two employees were in the store. The woman pointed to the other end of the store, and gave me some complicated directions. I couldn't find it. I went back. Again, she refused to show me, but spent almost a minute describing where I would find it. I finally went to the girl at the register. She walked me to the aisle. I asked her which would be best for cooking. She laughed, and said no one in THAT store could help me with a question like that.
Have you been in Total Wine? They are trained in all of their liquors. They know wines, cognac, you name it. I have never asked a question where they didn't stop what they were doing, walk me there, and help me with my purchase. What exactly is it that Lees is trying to do other than never have you return again? Lets see if Kenny Lee reads and responds to this one.
