| - This place is wonderful. There are a few things that they can improve on, however, you will not be disappointed. The entire process was pretty seamless and the staff was great.
Here's how my experience went.
We went the first time to scope it out. We loved it and we didn't even see it all lit up. The grounds are really beautiful. Perfect for a wedding. We knew this was where we wanted to get married. We gave our initial deposit to reserve the date. After that, we went only 2 more times. One for the finalization of guests, menus, colors, etc. The next time was the day before for the dry run. I thought it would take longer but really, it's only 30 minutes.
I was very happy with the the way the room was done. I had 3 colors instead of 2 and it looked great. I was kinda nervous about how it would look, I guess that's bride jitters, but it really came out great. Everything was done when I arrived at 6. We had our cocktail hour start at 7, and then the ceremony at 8. Everything was super smooth and just as rehearsed.
I honestly wasn't expecting much from the food. I had a few people who had a wedding there and they said it was just ok. However, many guests came up and told us how much they enjoyed the food. The roasted potatoes were a huge hit. The wedding cake was delicious. We got a 3 layer cake with cannoli filing. It was extra since we wanted all 3 layers that way, but I gotta say, it was worth it!
We had a lovely night and i definitely recommend!
