  • Urology Specialists Of Nevada the Henderson location 50 or 58 N Pecos Rd needs a whole lot of work. I have had two negative experiences at this clinic or facility. I have only been to this facility two or three times. Marissa who sometimes checks people in can be very rude and very unprofessional. As well as violating HIPPA laws. Many of them do actually. The clinic and reception or check in desks are front and center. The space is not so big inside and everyone basically hears everything. They need to worry about truly providing a world class customer service experience for their patients. Many of the patients are elderly and need assistance. The patients vary in age from babies all the way to senior citizens. Either way professionalism, great customer service, and less talks about what we are doing for the weekend would be amazing. Also, Marissa has a bad habit of talking across the room to patients in annoy so friendly way or in other words violating HIPPA LAWS. All the while Ms. Peggy her supervisor sits or stands right there while all this is happening. Even worse I had the worst PA follow up busy there. Ms. Lisa the first PA I met and was examined by or consulted with is amazing. I have no complaints about her. The other PA and if I get her name wrong I will make sure I go home and grab her business card. PA Jeanette or something provided the worst follow up Appointment I have ever experienced in my 38 years of living. I do not care what type of medical insurance I have or anyone else for that matter. Being medically consulted or treated for should be universal and world class no matter who it is and what type of insurance the patient has. At my follow up Appointment Marissa talked to me across the room loudly and that was just and is just unacceptable. I do value my information and situation handled wth the utmost privacy and respect like any other patient. Once I was brought back in the examination room and met PA Jeanette the consult or follow up went from nice intro to horrible and being resin out the door without proper viewing of my X-rays not being able to see my disc of my results from the diagnostic center where I had my MRI or CTScan and my X-rays. PA Jeanette said she could not view the disc and that it was not worth looking at my X-rays. Mind you she literally held them up to a light source from the ceiling and said oh they are too small to see. I could not even see what she was talking about. Does this facility not have the proper medical equipment to view such results with the patients. She basically just read the written report that was in the system and kept rushing to kick me out. Furthermore, she told me she would give me a strainer to catch my kidney stone should I pass another one to bring it back for further analysis. In rushing me out of there she never gave me the strainer. I never bothered walking back in that day to ask for it because I was beyond livid and appalled at my experience. It is now June 8, 2017 as I write these comments or as I write this story. I literally drove myself to the clinic to go inside where I already do not like walking into and dealing with those certain people I mentioned earlier. I asked the supervisor who was on her way out for one and asked her for her name again because I had forgotten it. She said Peggy. She had the one female that I dread walking in there and having to see front and center or even deal with her for all my past experiences. Peggy had her (Marissa) hand me the urine strainer and I asked for her name as well. Today Marissa was sitting to the side and when she gave me the cup had a smile on her face - a total 180 degree turn from my last experience. I still do not appreciate anything horrible that has happened in that clinic and even Marissa's smile did not help or rectify my already bad experiences with this clinic. Back in April 3, 2017 I had an appointment and it was cancelled without my knowledge. I called the phone number for the clinic and got a call center. Let me just say I hung up on the call center woman that thought she was helping me but in actuality she made the situation the worst call experience I have ever had and I literally hung up on her after cursing her out. I thank my wonderful family practice Doctor Noel Chamien for being very thorough with me and having referred me. I will be sure to tell him that maybe he should not refer their patients to Urology Specialist of Nevada at This address. 58 N Pecos Rd. Have a Blessed Day all
