I have had a lifetime (40 years) of having my hair professionally colored here in Madison and Houston and found this Salon a couple of years ago. I was happy with the young Stylist back then mostly because of her personality but found the revolving door of Receptionists/ Schedulers to be misinformed or untrained. I had to put up with mistakes over and over again made by the Schedulers without complaint by me but with redirecting them that I was given wrong information. I continued with the Salon because of my Stylist and not with the unprofessionalism by the Salon.
I also found the Massage employee to be rude since she made comments that were offensive,when I was in her care during and after. I shared this information with my Stylist who also agreed that the Massage person can make rude comments. No one else knew of this since I did not share with anyone else other than the Stylist.
A year ago I was calling again to obtain information on scheduling with another Stylist since my original Stylist abruptly left without any explanation given to the patrons. When trying to schedule with someone I did not know, I was rudely greeted over the phone with another Stylist. The Scheduler put this person on the phone without informing me of the call transfer. Considering that I have had to put up with many mistakes in the past and with the current situation with bad phone manners, I decided after this encounter not to return. When the owner called me back, I tried explaining the situation to the owner - I informed the owner that I was not going to return considering the rude behavior by one of her Stylists and the many mistakes in the past.
After a year and I was hoping my Stylist returned, I called and was going to give the Salon another chance. When I found she had not returned, I then was going to reschedule with another Stylist. I was asking for prices and other information by the Scheduler. This time it seemed the Scheduler was a bit more trained. I asked her if she had my color information on hand before I scheduled. Otherwise if she did not have the information, I was not going to bother. To more of my amazement and with rude phone manners, the Owner got on the phone. I was never informed that I was being transferred to the Owner. At once the Owner accused me of trying to obtain color information.
I will continue to feel that this Salon is unprofessional in so many ways .. This time it was the Owner accusing me of trying to obtain color information when I was only trying to figure out prices and the Stylists available.
It just amazes me that this Salon still remains unprofessional in so many ways. ... Rude behavior, poor phone etiquette and accusations.
