  • Air care came to my house in 2013 after my a/c wasn't blowing cool air. They advised me that I needed $650 in repairs, to which i obliged and had them complete the repairs. One year later the same thing happened, so I called air care back. They came to my house and after 10 minutes of looking at my unit they told me that my compressor was bad. They also said that my AC unit is 11 years old and I might as well replace it because a new compressor will only last 1 year. Their technician told me that a new compressor would cost $2500, and a new unit $5200. Thankfully I got a second opinion, which resulted in the technician doing another $650 I repairs to fix the poor work performed by Air Care last year. Air Care installed the wrong size parts which caused my capacitor to blow. The honest technician that came out this year had my A/C working in 20 minutes. The compressor wasn't bad and I do not need a new unit. Air Care is terrible, they take advantage of people and perform ineffective repairs. I would never recommend them to anyone.
