  • My party of two came here for breakfast one weekday morning when it wasn't too busy, and we were seated overlooking the canal, which was fun. I ordered the Garden Egg White Omelette (with spinach, mushroom, and cheese only), Yogurt and Granola (served with Mexican wedding cookies), and Watermelon Agua Fresca. Personally, I didn't care for my food - it was all bland to me and I've had better elsewhere. My dining companion liked her food though (Huevos BLT), so maybe I just didn't order the right thing. I love watermelon so I liked my drink and found it to be pretty refreshing. Service was decent, and our food was brought out pretty fast. It was neat sitting by the water and seeing gondolas go by, so I found the ambiance to be nice. If the food were any tastier, I'd give Cañonita a four, but since it wasn't, three stars it is based on my experience.
