| - I love this place as it brings back memories of being a kid!
The last drive-in I remember was the Greater Pittsburgh Drive-In in North Versailles that was torn down in 1997 to make room for a Wal-Mart.
This drive-in is near the old Pittsburgh International Airport in Moon Township. They offer four screens and usually show two movies together though sometimes the two movies picked don't go well with each other at all. I usually never make it to the end of the second movie and fall asleep before it's over though. Sometimes you even get three movies. The prices are dare I say cheap.
The snack bar at the concession stand has it's at! Everything from pizza, hotdogs, wings, burgers, corndogs, gyros, hoagies, nachos, fries, pretzels and of course pop corn, cotton candy, funnel cake and ice cream. Best of all the prices are very reasonable.
One thing that they offer that I like is their Dependable Dollar Loyalty Program. Here's how it works:
Every time your car's total admission is $14.00 or more, you will receive One "2 Point" ticket.
Every time you spend $20 dollars or more at once at the concession stand, you will receive One "2 Point" ticket
Redemption:
Save Seven "2 Point" tickets for 14 points and present them at the box office to receive one FREE admission
Save Three "2 Point" tickets for 6 points and get a Free small popcorn in the concession stand
Save Two "2 Point" tickets for 4 points and get a FREE topping on your pizza in the concession stand
Save One "2 Point" ticket for 2 Points and get .30 off your concession order of $3.00 or more
You can even order an authentic drive-in speaker made into a decorative clock!
Insider Tip: Go on a weed night as the weekend is crazy!
Load up the family into the SUV and get there early to secure your space, set your radio to 88.7 FM and sit back and enjoy the show!
