| - I remember this café opening, and at the time, I was overjoyed. What an excellent idea! My friends agreed, and after much pondering we decided to try it out. The decor is lovely: exposed bricks walls, great light etc.. but the tables are a bit cramped and should someone want to sit behind you, everyone around both your tables will have to reorganize and accommodate. The menu is simple, a bit pricy. Note that if you don't want to order anything, a $5 contribution is still required - it goes to the cats' well being (food and supplies I guess).
Now, the cats. Thing is, I expected a joyous romp, full of kitty cuddles, but being a dog person, I deeply misunderstood the nature of cats. They don't care. Sometimes, one will drop by your table..and go away. Chances are, kids around the place are already chasing them around, so they don't have any more energy to socialize.
Well then, that amounts to a very expensive cup of tea...
