  • I'll start by the saying that typically when I read negative yelp reviews, I give the company the benefit of the doubt. Customers can be difficult, and misunderstandings happen that could have been resolved before a one star review. That being said, the tables have turned and I can honestly say working with this company was incredibly stressful and frustrating. Firstly, they are not forthcoming about when their delivery window begins. They say 10-14 days and you assume it starts on the day of pick-up, right? WRONG. Whatever date you put down for first available to receive is when the window begins. How anyone can wait 2 weeks to a month for their possessions after already moving to their location is a true mystery. The only time you are informed of this protocol is the day of pick-up after you've already signed the contract online and the movers are busy loading the truck. It's one line buried in a stack of paperwork to hastily be filled out. Our items were picked up July 22nd and we did not get them until August 16th. My husband and I were repeatedly reminded that legally they had 21 days to make a delivery, so we couldn't complain. Later we discovered they have an option for guaranteed delivery date and when I asked why this wasn't communicated to me the response was, "maybe if I had heard the desperation in your voice I would have mentioned it." Customer service was atrocious. Repeatedly they would promise to call back immediately or in the next day or so, and nothing. They literally said they would call me right back and over an hour later I would have to be the one to follow-up. I found myself having to call regularly and every time the customer service representative would act like they had no idea why I was calling. Between their unwillingness to be forthcoming, and the alerts on yelp that they "buy" good reviews, I would not label this a trustworthy company. The only positive is that the movers on both ends were wonderful, and helped that process go smoothly. They were polite, efficient, and careful with our belongings. That being said, my suggestion is to research more companies and don't be afraid to spend a little more and go with a company that doesn't have to buy their positive reviews.
