My ice cream at Atomic #7 was unique to say the least. Made with pistachio base, coconut milk, cookies n cream chunks, agave sweetener (instead of sugar) all in a waffle cone.
Sure there were things I would change, like having a less-fragile waffle cone and turning down the thermostat in an ice cream shop, but those are little things. The product was amazing and that's what I was hoping for.
Because I ordered coconut milk, I didn't feel full of mucus and not over-sweetened. The ice cream tasted fresher than I'm used to, mainly because it was made just for me.
The employees helped us figure out what we wanted to order, and once you grasp the concept of creating ice cream in 7 steps, it goes pretty easy.
I loved the smiles of all the employees and their equipment made me jealous I don't have a commercial-grade Mix Master with the liquid nitrogen feed to create the frozen treat.
I was pleased to see a full store when I walked in, and I hope they find ways to move the line more quickly. But the ice cream is well worth the wait.
